What speech therapy services do you provide?
We evaluate and treat speech, language, communication, AAC, cognitive-communication, and swallowing difficulties in children and adults.
What is early-intervention speech therapy?
For ages 3 and under Early intervention supports young children who have difficulty understanding language, using words, interacting with others, or communicating their wants and needs.
Can speech therapy make my child talk?
We cannot force or guarantee spoken words. We help each child develop meaningful communication through speech, gestures, signs, pictures, or AAC.
How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?
An evaluation may help if your child has difficulty using words, following directions, being understood, answering questions, or communicating wants and needs.
What happens during an evaluation?
A speech-language pathologist reviews your concerns and assesses the client’s communication or swallowing skills. Results and personalized recommendations are provided afterward.
Do you provide AAC evaluations?
Yes. We offer AAC evaluations, device trials, personalized recommendations, caregiver training, and follow-up support.
Do you offer virtual speech therapy?
Yes. Virtual services may be available for eligible clients in Georgia and South Carolina when telehealth is clinically appropriate.
Do you accept insurance and self-pay clients?
Yes. We accept several insurance plans and self-pay clients. Coverage varies, so please contact us to verify your benefits.
What is a FEES swallow study?
FEES is an instrumental swallowing evaluation that uses a small, flexible camera to assess how safely and effectively a person swallows.
When will I receive my FEES results?
Preliminary results are explained immediately, and a written report is typically completed within 24 hours. Follow-up appointments and virtual education are available when needed.
